Install on macOS

The command verifies the installer

It first checks the SHA-256 of the script itself; the script then checks all five certificates before changing the system.

  1. Open the Terminal app.
  2. Copy the command below, paste it and press Enter.
  3. Enter the password of a Mac administrator account if asked, then restart the browser.
(tmp="$(mktemp)" && trap 'rm -f "$tmp"' EXIT; curl -fsSL --proto '=https' --proto-redir '=https' 'https://rusinternet.com/downloads/install-macos.sh' -o "$tmp" || { echo 'Error: could not download the installer.' >&2; exit 1; }; expected_sha256='dec61dd01bf0d82580a46c7ecc8e3e3ca5a0b6f37be6c2ad1ec33c5ca423cf41'; actual_sha256="$(shasum -a 256 "$tmp" | awk '{print $1}')"; if [ "$actual_sha256" = "$expected_sha256" ]; then bash "$tmp"; else echo 'Error: installer checksum does not match. Installation aborted.' >&2; exit 1; fi)
Rather not run the installer?Install the certificate by hand in the system settings →
